As i understood, it should be a comedy, but during the whole movie only 3 times I could hardly smile…Most of the smiling was about how stupid a movie can be…It is a movie that you can watch only with a girl, but being busy doing something else, especially in a cinema The idea of the movie isn't so bad, but the scenery is totally disappointing !!! Some "jokes" are really disgusting, and in stead of smiling you start screaming furiously !!! If it is a movie for children, I don't know what positive they can get from it. The only thing that was really funny, in a "Shrek" way, it were the monsters from the movie. I counted 3 or 4 moments when somebody can smile. For an hour long movie, that's called comedy it's to little to spend some money for cinema!

I have not seen the English version of this movie, but the Norwegian one rocks. The maker of the movie is the brother of Jokke (Joachim Nielsen) Who was a famous Norwegian rock artist who died in 2000. The movie is much about drugs, and it is presented in a very humorous way. You can actually feel the drug community atmosphere, and the characteristics are awesome. The voices are the same who does the voices for "To Trøtte Typer" (Two Boring Guys). It's a masterpiece. It might not be the best movie for a nonorwegian, since there is some local humor involved (the samimafia, and the moosehunters from Trondheim). But still a masterpiece. Though you got to be a bit crazy to like the humor, and it helps if your often in a torpor.

Usually, i am pretty forgiving when it comes to rating movies, but this movie deserves no forgiveness. This movie is utter nonsense. Like most other baseball movies, it does cover the idea of never giving up no matter how bleak the odds look, but unlike other baseball movies, the message just does not ring true. The message about not giving up is not a constant during the movie, and is instead replaced with slapstick comedy, and booger and fart jokes. This movie could have been very funny, but instead, fails at delivering time and again. The animation is fairly decent, and it is a clever idea for a story, but in the end, every part of this movie falls thru. All in all, not even a good movie for "just the kids". Oh, and if you are a Chicago Cubs fan (which I am, seeing as that I am from the windy city) there is a TON of slandering in this movie, making the Cubs out to be cheaters, thieves, and idiots. If you are a Cubs fan, STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. This movie will just make you mad.

Firstly, let me start by saying that if I could give this movie 0, then I happily would, as it goes I cain't so a 1 will have to do. Now, then on with the review. 'The Reef' or 'Shark Bait' as it is otherly known is a floundering story about a young guppie fish named Pi who is forced to move to the glossy reef under the sea after his family are killed. It is here where he encounters bullying sharks, dopey but cute angelfish and a storyline so drip it makes you want to bury your own head.Queue all the kiddie-flick clichés which so merrily unfold. There are just so many bad points about this movie (not to mention a laughable stab at trying to rip off Finding Nemo and Shark Tale) The animation is absolute carp, the voice-over work (by a blatantly wannabe Will Smith-like Freddie Prinze Jr and Rob Schneider) is a jumbled mess and the whole 'complexity' of the story is just bad. The set visuals are very candy-eyed but only add to the dishorientation of the film. It is a very appalling movie, even below Shark Tale's standard, and very very un-original. Don't see this for your own good…

Surprisingly good mix of action-packed slapstick and sharp-witted humour. I was somewhat less-than-enthralled with the trailer, which made this look like a toilet humour-heavy kid's flick, but the actual product was pretty funny, with lots of clever nods to other films and tons of dry British humour. The story was a nice twist on the old cliché, and the voice acting was pretty good all around. Bill Nighy's Whitey and Jean Reno's Le Frog were both hilarious, and everyone else was solid - save for Ian McKellan, who really went over-the-top in his evilness. The music was pretty effective, and the little asides with the slugs were another nice touch. Really a pleasant surprise.
